FazPar is responsible for processing the personal data collected through the website and the application process.
If you have any questions about privacy or your personal data, you can contact us at:

This type of information is processed only where necessary for the compatibility process and where the candidate has provided explicit consent.
You may choose not to provide optional information about religion or spirituality.
HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
Your data may be used to:
- review your application;
- understand your profile, preferences and personal goals;
- look for potential matches with other candidates;
- calculate internal compatibility indicators;
- enable human review of potential matches;
- contact you in connection with the FazPar process;
- where authorised, present a limited summary of your profile to a potential match;
- show photographs only to previously selected potential matches and where appropriate authorisation has been provided;
- manage the mutual-interest process and any subsequent introduction;
- comply with applicable legal and security obligations.
Applying to FazPar is free.
Submitting an application does not guarantee that a match will be found.
HOW MATCHING WORKS
FazPar uses structured information from applications to help identify potential compatibility.
Some criteria may be compared automatically and may generate an internal compatibility score.
This system is used only to help organise and prioritise potential matches.
No introduction is decided solely by automated means.
Before a potential match is presented, there is always a human review of the profiles and the compatibility identified.
Open-ended answers, photographs and other information requiring interpretation are not used to make an automatic final decision about an introduction.
SHARING INFORMATION WITH POTENTIAL MATCHES
FazPar profiles are not public.
When we identify a potential match, we may present each person with a limited summary of the other person’s profile.
At the initial stage, this summary does not include:
- surname;
- home address or exact location;
- email address;
- mobile phone number.
Photographs may only be shown as part of the FazPar process and in accordance with the permissions provided by the candidate.
Personal contact details are only shared when there is mutual interest, both people decide to move forward and the applicable conditions for the introduction have been met.
TOOLS USED TO PROCESS DATA
FazPar uses technology services necessary for the operation of the service.
Tally
The application form is provided through Tally.
Tally acts as the form service provider and stores application data on behalf of FazPar. According to the information provided by Tally, form data is stored in Europe and protected by encryption both in transit and at rest.
Google Sheets and Google Apps Script
Certain structured application data is used in a private Google Sheets database to organise candidates and calculate compatibility indicators.
Photographs are not part of the automated scoring process.
Google Apps Script is used to automate internal operations relating to the organisation and calculation of potential matches.
Hosting and email
Hostinger is used for services associated with the website and FazPar’s email address.
Communications relating to applications may be sent through geral@fazpar.com.
These tools are used only for purposes necessary for the operation and management of FazPar.
LAWFUL BASES FOR PROCESSING
Depending on the purpose, the processing of personal data may be based on:
- the candidate’s consent;
- explicit consent for special category data, where applicable;
- the steps necessary to provide the requested service;
- compliance with legal obligations;
- FazPar’s legitimate interests relating to the security, organisation and operation of the service, provided that these interests are not overridden by the rights of the data subject.
Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time.
DATA RETENTION
Application data is retained for as long as the profile remains active and for as long as it is necessary to identify potential matches and manage the service.
You may, at any time, ask for your application to be deactivated or request the deletion of your personal data.
Some information may be retained for longer where this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, resolve an issue relating to the service, or protect the legitimate rights of FazPar or the data subject.
When personal data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected, it will be deleted or anonymised, unless a legal retention obligation applies.
SECURITY
FazPar seeks to limit access to personal data to the people and tools necessary for the operation of the service.
Applications are not published on the website.
The candidate database and the internal matching system are not publicly accessible.
Photographs are not used as part of the automated compatibility calculation.
Despite the measures adopted, no technological system can guarantee absolute security.
